ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project is focused on measuring air cleanliness along the route of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) - Eastern and Eastern Mediterranean Corridor in the section of the state border of Germany - Ústí nad Labem - Mělník - Zdiby, this section is loaded from the point of view of road, rail and water transport. The goal of the project is to verify the share of pollution caused by traffic and to establish specific measures to improve air cleanliness using specific action plans of partner cities and municipalities.
Project's objectives
1. Implement automated mobile air measurement, sampling campaigns using samplers in 15 locations along the TEN-T transport network in 3 cities (Ústí nad Labem, Mělník and on the outskirts of Prague in Zdiby).
2. Analyze measured data and model pollution sources.
3. Implement an inspirational journey for good practice for representatives of Czech cities to Norway.
4. Create, discuss and approve action plans to reduce air pollution sources for the cities of Ústí nad Labem and Mělník and the municipality of Zdiby.
5. Propose at least 15 measures to improve air quality.
